The entrance to City Theatre’s main building is ramped. There are accessible payphones, water fountains, and restrooms available. An elevator allows patrons to reach the Mainstage theatre space where accessible seating is available on a limited basis (with the option for companion seating).
A level concrete walkway leads to the Lester Hamburg Studio Theatre where floor-level seating is available (with the option for companion seating).
We strongly recommend that when reserving tickets you identify any special seating needs to our Box Office staff.
Selected performances of each City Theatre production feature Audio Description and pre-show Sensory Seminars for those who are blind or have low-vision.
- Audio Description consists of a live, concise, objective description of the visual elements of a performance. The description is broadcast to patrons who use a small radio receiver with single ear bud in order to hear the description.
- Sensory Seminars give an overview of the production and allow patrons to explore the set, as well as selected costume and prop pieces prior to the performance.

Murderers: Sunday, December 2 at 2 pm.
The 13th of Paris: Sunday, February 10 at 2 pm.
Flight: Sunday, March 30 at 2 pm.
Bust: Sunday, June 22 at 2 pm
A Marriage Minuet: Sunday, May 18 at 2 pm
Pre-show Sensory Seminars begin at 1 pm. except for The Male Intellect, which begins at 4:30 pm.

Please indicate that you are calling for the Audio Described/Sensory Seminar performance and indicate if you have any special seating needs (wheelchair accessible seating, guide animal, etc.).
Programs are available in both Braille and Large Print. Please see a House Manager upon arrival to City Theatre to request one.
Assistive Listening Devices for patrons who need additional amplification are available in both the Mainstage and Hamburg Theatre spaces. Please visit the Box Office prior to curtain to obtain a device.
