COSTUME MANAGER

City Theatre Company, Pittsburgh’s leading professional theater dedicated to new plays, seeks to hire a COSTUME MANAGER. The position is hourly, non-exempt, and full-time from August through May each season. The Costume Manager is an integral area head as well as lead craftsperson, managing workflow and part-time costume and wardrobe personnel for five subscription shows and City Theatre’s annual Young Playwright’s Festival. The position works closely with production management, artistic teams, stage management, cast members, and other administrative and production staff.

TEACHING ARTIST

City Theatre is seeking Teaching Artists to join our Education team, supporting the Young Playwrights and Arts Access programs. This part-time, contract-based role works with middle and high school students across Southwestern Pennsylvania, facilitating creative writing, playmaking, and theatre-based learning experiences that center youth voice, creativity, and collaboration. Teaching Artists work in classrooms and community settings to help students develop original work and build confidence as writers and creators. Applications are open through July 5, with interviews taking place shortly after.
